- Flooding the API with excessive requests beyond your plan limits (DoS/DDoS)
- Distributing or sharing your account credentials or private API keys
- Using automated tools to scrape information from the KeyPort dashboard
3. Fraud and Deception
You must not use KeyPort to engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices, such as:
- Selling license keys for products you do not own or have permission to distribute
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Misrepresenting the features, origin, or legitimacy of your software
- Systematically creating multiple free accounts to bypass plan limits
- Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods
4. IP Tracking and Privacy
KeyPort provides tools to track end-user IP addresses for license enforcement. You agree that:
- You will not use IP tracking to systematically harass or doxx your users
- You will comply with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction regarding IP collection
- You will not use IP data for any purpose other than license and access enforcement
- You will inform your users in your own privacy policy that their IP address is collected for license validation purposes
5. Responsible Integration
When integrating the KeyPort API into your software, we expect you to follow best practices:
- Handle API failures gracefully to avoid locking out legitimate users
- Do not hardcode sensitive API keys in client-side code where they can be trivially extracted
- Observe rate limits and optimize your validation logic to avoid unnecessary calls
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate potential violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may:
- Issue a warning and request immediate remediation
- Suspend one or more of your products
- Suspend or terminate your entire account without refund
- Notify law enforcement or regulatory authorities if illegal activity is suspected
Decisions regarding AUP violations are made at our sole discretion.
7. Reporting Violations
If you discover that KeyPort is being used to manage licenses for harmful software or in violation of this policy, please report it to us immediately at email@keyport.sbs. We take all reports seriously.
